я слышал про переход на Hyperforce. Но нас простых смертных это как-то касается? да вообще какая разница между Hyperforce и не Hyperforce?

Salesforce закрывает свои Data Centers и переходит на AWS Data Centers infrastructure.

Hyperforce infrastructure is composed of code rather than hardware, so that the Salesforce platform and applications can be delivered rapidly and reliably to locations worldwide, giving customers more choice and control over data residency. Но нас простых смертных это как-то касается?

зависит на каком уровне работа с клиентом, если это только application (development,QA, deployment) то скорее всего почти ни как не касается.
если есть взаимодействие с network, infrustructure, security teams, тогда приходиться объяснять, помогать что изменять чтоб была связь с АWS (firewall, network).
например Whitelist of IP address ranges больше не используеться, вместо этого надо использовать domains (*salesforce.com, *force.com ...)
